The Rules;

hey there. so you all know the drill, we need to lay down a few rules in this to make sure everyone knows exactly what they can and can't do. it will also come in very handy for you to know when making your application, so please pay attention and read them carefully.

1. the forum;

so this forum is a trueblood based rpg. that means that we don't have vampires that can go out in the sun and simply sparkle, they WILL burn. as harsh as that sounds, it is how we here on You Will Be Mine prefer it. if you have any problems with that, please contact a member of staff, they will be happy to speak to you.
also this is not a harry potter rpg in the slightest, just because we have witches it doesn't mean they went to hogwarts...so make sure you know that!
also, though the programme and books are very mature, it doesn't mean you can just go around making mature threads, that is against the proboards rules and if you do such a thing we may get shut down, so please speak to a member of staff with any concerns, we may be able to help you out when it comes to stopping any thread going mature.

2. bullying;

please understand this: we DO NOT tolerate bullying of any kind. we hate it infact. bullies are cowards and don't deserve to waste anyones time. so if you are accused of bullying, the admin will be speaking to you and anyone else involved, and sorting the problem out. for this you will get a warning. 3 warnings and you're out. it's that simple.

3. threads and word count;

please don't groan at this one. as we are a more advanced forum we would prefer a 250 word count for the threads, as i know some people can spend hours writing out the perfect post only to get the worst reply in return. its happened to me, and i hate it. so please atLEAST try and hit the 250 mark when it comes to the length of your posts, that is ALL we ask, and believe me it's not that much compared to some forums.

4. chat box;

NO SPAMMING! simple, we have an advertisement board if you wish to promote your own website, so please use it. also no bullying in the cbox, we have records of all converstations so you will be caught and banned from using the cbox.

5. activity and absences;

we have a board for you to place your absence thread in if you are going to be away for any amount of time. the phrase you need to use is 'it hurts so good'. if you do not place an absence thread in the board allocated, and you haven't signed on for a week, we will be trying to contact you until we get a reason. if we don't get a reason after two weeks and you happen to hold a canon character, we will open that character back up and offer you a chance to make an OC or take another canon when you sign back on. if you aren't a canon and we haven't seen you for 2 weeks and have had no response as to your absence, we will delete your account. so please be sure to post a thread before taking leave.

6. warnings;

we have a system for warnings. if any of the rules above are broken, we will give you one warning, if you continue to break the rules and get 3 warnings, we shall review your participation on the forum and decide whether or not you shall stay on the site or not. this applies to all rules apart from bullying, where its a simple 3 warnings and you're out.

7. finally...;

have fun! we may have to set these rules down, but its for your own good, really we just want everyone to get along or at least be civil to eachother and make the forum a nice place to hang out and rp with eachother. so please make it the best you can. enjoy and welcome.
